Our TEFL / TESOL courses have been created, developed and validated by a well respected Expert Author (EzineArticles.com) and popular author of English Language Teaching text books (English to the World Series). These books are widely distributed and have been adopted at teacher training colleges and universities. The author has endorsed the use of seven of these text books for this course. The author of the English to the World Series is also a certified Oral Examiner for Cambridge International Examinations (C.I.E) and has delivered numerous ESL workshops and seminars around the world.

All Tutors have Qualified Teacher status, TESOL / TEFL certification (TEFL Training College) and have experience in lecturing / teaching at University or Schools. Tutors are required to have a minimum of 5 years English Language Teaching experience.

Whilst the TEFL Training College recognizes the place of observed teaching practice in training programmes it is also aware that many aspiring English Language Teachers are unable to attend full-time courses or cover the cost of such courses. Online learning is not necessarily a second choice for students who cannot attend a conventional course, or who may not be able to afford the fees. Nowadays, more and more distance-learning students follow this route deliberately as a first choice! This is addition to people who follow the route for more obvious reasons; they cannot attend residential courses because of work or family commitments, or because they are remote from any institution offering a face-to-face programme. It is important to stress that Online learning is a real way ahead, with advantages of its own, and a viable alternative to face -to -face training. When opting for a face-to-face course you may only be required to complete one or two lessons of observed teaching practice which is hardly a substitute for real classroom teaching experience. Your in depth knowledge of teaching methodology and practice will give you the tools necessary to apply in a real teaching environment and after one or two lessons in a new school, you will be well on your way to a career of life long learning and experience.
